GORE-TEX® Most Breathable membrane

The GORE-TEX® Most Breathable lining provides waterproofing and helps moisture escape from inside.

This solution helps keep your feet dry during walks in the rain, on damp trails, and on days with changeable weather conditions.

Recycled Knit upper

The upper is made from Recycled Knit, a lightweight and flexible fabric designed to provide immediate comfort and naturally follow the foot's movement.

AKU also uses recycled materials in the laces, outsole, midsole, and insole, following the “designed to reduce” production concept.

Cushioning and comfort

The dual-density EVA midsole combines support and cushioning, helping to reduce fatigue during walks.

The co-molded two-component construction also helps reduce the use of adhesives and improve the shoe's manufacturing efficiency.

Ortholite® Hybrid insole

The partially recycled Ortholite® Hybrid insole contributes to internal comfort and moisture management.

Its design is intended to provide a comfortable feel even during prolonged use.

AKU Kaly Tenuta Grip outsole

The shoe features a partially recycled AKU Kaly Tenuta Grip outsole, designed to provide grip and stability during light outdoor activities.

It is suitable for paved trails, unpaved paths, parks, natural terrain, and urban surfaces. It is not a Vibram sole: the manufacturer expressly specifies the AKU Kaly Tenuta Grip outsole.

Flexible construction

The mounting insole uses a flexible Nylon Shank, designed to promote a natural walking motion and good freedom of movement.

This feature makes the Aira V Light GTX particularly suitable for leisure time, active tourism, and walks on easy trails.
